Early Years

It changed the way we all live forever.

As well as creating cheaper hardware, computer companies also increased the power of new systems. This has made them much faster, further increasing their applications. The other significant development is portability. The ability to wield a handheld computing device has made life and work more convenient for modern people.

However, along with the integration of computers into everyday life, there has also been a rise in concerns over privacy. Smartphones can be used to track the owner. Their cameras can also be hacked and manipulated to spy on people. Because of this, some countries have drafted new laws to help protect privacy.
